This is why Gillette Venus has launched the #SayPubic campaign which aims to create an open dialogue about this often taboo area. The same survey found that 77 per cent of Canadian women use slang terms to refer to their pubic area, instead of using anatomical terms like pubic hair and vulva. If the matter does arise with friends, chances are that cutesy language like fuzz, carpet or bush is used instead.
